Tooth and Nail (2006)
Tooth and Nail is an abstract exploration into predators and their prey through extreme speed, sinewy strength, coiled energy and ghost-silent movements.
This was the very first Lîla work, and the start of the company. Can you spot the early signs of trademark Lîla physicality? Tooth and Nail premiered at The Place in the Resolution! season but it was through performing this work at The Theatre Royal in Winchester that we were invited to be an associate of The Point, Eastleigh alongside Stopgap Dance Company and Hofesh Shechter. This was the first big step up for us and we are very proud to have maintained a strong relationship with The Point today as an @Home artist.
